Don't make a mistake, this snow ledge overhang with a width of 3 meters. I'm at 2000 m high, at the end of April. I do a walk on a plateau. I'm tempted to go near the edge, to see the valley, but I take a retirement of more than 3 meters. I cannot see in the valley, it's frustrating, but otherwise...
Sometimes a ledge supports an imprudent man, but too often it breaks.
If we cannot see the valley, we can watch a distant mountain as the Aiguille Verte (in Mont Blanc) 4122m.
